Alabama's first loss of the 2023 season comes in Week 2 at the hands of Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns. The final score of 34-24 may not seem terrible, but it was not a pretty game for the Crimson Tide. Jalen Milroe only completed 51.9% of his passes for 255 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Fans were not too pleased with his performance. Alabama enters Week 3 with a 1-1 record and will take a slight fall from their current rank of No. 3. The Crimson Tide's College Football Playoff hopes have dwindled but are not completely gone.
